Testing Script
Each session was held in a general, comfortable area where the participant can easily access their computer or phone depending on if they tested the app or website. None of the participants have heard of or explored TickCheck.com before their session.
Part 1: BACKGROUND EVALUATION

Part 2: TASKS
Session A: Exploration

What is the first thing that stands out to you on the home page?

What do you think this website is about?

What did you click on first?

How do you feel about the visuals/colors?
(At this point, the participant was given a free-roam period where they may explore the website freely for about 2-5 minutes)
Session B: Multiple Scenario

Find out how to remove a tick.

You just found a tick on you and now you’re on TickCheck for a solution. Find out how you can test out your tick.

It’s later in the day after you just submitted your tick, and now you would like to check the status of the submission. Where would you go to check the status?

You found out that what you have is a deer tick! Oh my! Going off from the website, where would you find information about deer ticks?

Part 3: SURVEY
Participants were also required to take a 4 question survey covering general questions on how they felt about the website before moving on to the open-ended portion where they can give a voice to their problems in more detail.
